Jessica Gutowski-Slaydon Named New President of StockBridge Business Association

Grand Rapids, MI – November 1 – The StockBridge Business Association (SBA) is pleased to announce that Jessica Gutowski-Slaydon has been appointed as the new President of the association, succeeding Mitch Cook, who has moved to a new role at Meijer Corporate Offices. Jessica, a dedicated member of the SBA and a prominent figure in the local business community, will spearhead the association's ongoing efforts to enhance the business landscape of the StockBridge area.

Mitch Cook, the former President, expressed his full confidence in Jessica's capabilities. “Jessica has always been a pillar of strength for our association. Her dedication and visionary leadership are exactly what the SBA needs to continue thriving. I am excited to see where she takes the SBA next,” said Mitch Cook.

The association wishes Mitch the best of luck in his new position at Meijer Corporate.

Ryan Waalkes, a fellow board member, and Director of Bridge Street Ministries, also praised Jessica’s appointment. “Jessica brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to the role. Her commitment to our mission and her innovative ideas are invigorating. We are fortunate to have her at the helm,” commented Waalkes.

The StockBridge Business Association, which includes around 40 businesses, is committed to supporting local enterprises and fostering a vibrant community. This year, thanks to the generous sponsorship of membership fees, joining the SBA is accessible to all at no cost.
