Max Merget, Max Your Brain. Max shared his cancer journey and how it’s shaped him into the man he is today. A Laker grad and 5-time brain cancer survivor, he emphasized the importance of being an advocate for yourself and the power of positive thinking. He also promoted his first book.

12:19 p.m. Presentation
Al Vanderberg, County Administrator/Controller of Kent County, MI. Al discussed the role of the Kent County Administrator. It’s great how accessible Al is and how he believes working with the county should be like a “Disney World” experience. I think that’d be pretty cool.

The Bridge Street Block Party has been postponed until 2025. We’re planning a BINGO/punch card event to activate businesses during ArtPrize. Additionally, we’re designing maps for tourism promotion, which will be ready this ArtPrize season.
