Survey for Caylie Peet: placemaking, walkability, and community economies in Grand Rapids, Michigan
My name is Caylie Peet, and I am a Ph.D. candidate in Community Engagement at Point Park University. I am currently conducting my doctoral research on placemaking, walkability, and community economies in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
As a Grand Rapids native, this research is deeply personal to me. It reflects my passion for understanding how residents, workers, business owners, and community members experience our city and how placemaking and walkability initiatives shape community life.
I would like to invite you and your organization, association, or network to participate in this study or help share this opportunity with others who may be interested. The purpose of this research is to better understand how placemaking and walkability initiatives are experienced in a mid-sized city like Grand Rapids and how they may contribute to stronger community connections and local economic activity.
I am seeking participants who:
Are at least 18 years old, and
Live, work, or play in the city of Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Participation consists of completing a brief online survey. Participants may also choose to indicate their interest in an optional focus group later in the study.
